Q1-What is Incarnate ?

A- Incarnate is a online management fest.

Q2-Who can participate ?

A-The fest is open to any college student to participate.

Q3-How do i register ?

A- Log in to ww.festing.in and register a user. Right after you have registered a user, you will need to create or join a team to participate.

Q4-How many members are allowed in a team ?

A-Maximum of 4 members are allowed in a team and a minimum of 1. A team has to consist of 1,2,3 or 4 member(s).

Q5-When would the rounds be online ?

A-12.00 AM October 22nd 2012.

Q6-Will any physical movement be involved in the fest ?

A-No everything is online.

Q7-Where would the rounds be published ?

A-Rounds will be published on the official incarnate blog :- www.Incarnatefest.Blogspot.com

Q8-Do i have to Register a team if i am participating as an individual ?

A- Yes, do register a team even if you are a single user.

Q9- What is the Prize money for Incarnate 3.0 ?

A- Rs 10000 for the winning team and Rs 5000 for the Runners up.

Round 1 - 300 Points

Round 1 Part 1: 150 Points

Background:

Abhinav Nair (Name changed on request) is an avid quizzer. He wants to conduct online quizzes on random topics that interest him. He wants to conduct these quizzes once every two weeks.

Your Task:

• Explain 10 ways in which he can market the quiz to the largest possible audience.
• Explain 5 different ways which can work out to  be his revenue generating streams.
• You should ensure that the revenue generating streams have nothing to do with advertising on the website or sponsoring of the quizzes.

Our Requirement:

• Structure the Idea Clearly so its commercially viable as a career option. 
• Offer anything additional (Such as reports,analysis) if it helps in better explanation.
• File can be submitted in any universal format (Such as .pdf,.doc,.ppt,etc)

10 Marketing Ideas = 10*10 = 100

5 Revenue Streams = 5 * 10 = 50

Round 1 Part 2: 150 Points


Background:

Nishant Agarwal (Name changed on request) has an interest in online stores and would like to start a website to sell t-shirts. As this field is highly competitive and has many players, it is really difficult for him to enter the market and survive in this competitive environment.

Your Task:

• Contribute at least ONE original idea which will make his website unique and distinguish him from his competition. If you contribute more than one idea, the points would be awarded based on the best idea.

Our Requirement:

• All Ideas/Tactics and Strategies need to be specific.
• No "Ideas/Tactics and Strategies" should involve a expense higher than Rs 2000 Individually.

Criteria Of Judgement:

Innovation - 75 Points

Feasibility -  75 Points

Total 75+75 = 150 Points

Round 1 - 300 Points

Round 1 Part 1: 200 Points

Background:

Vishal (Name Changed on Request) after completing His BBA and MBA works in a BPO for an Investment Bank. But his work productivity was often hampered due to his love for Cricket. He would often use his smartphone at work to tweet about cricket and write articles on his blog. His articles started to receive positive reviews by the readers ( Who majorly comprised of his limited twitter following). He has put down his papers and is only serving the standard notice period.

Your Task:

• To develop Two Commercially viable ideas keeping in mind his interest for Cricket.
• Capital Includes: Rs 35000 and Normal facilities ( Such as Internet,Smartphone,Tablet,Laptop etc)
• Not allowed to hire a full time employee for the First year.

Our Requirement:

• Like always Idea has to be clearly explained. The reader in one read should understand the Idea clearly.  
• Not necessarily looking for lengthy reports unless it helps in clearer explanation of the Idea.
• File can submitted in any universal format (.doc,.pdf,.ppt,etc)

Criteria Of Judgement:

Originality - 50 Points

Feasibility - 50 Points

Total 50+50 = 100 Points per Idea.

2 Ideas * 100 points = 200 Points.

Round 1 Part 2: 100 Points


Assignment:-

1-Post Your team name to on  Incarnate Facebook Page.
(Ex: If Team Name is "Troy" then post should be "Troy" on Incarnate Facebook Page)

2-Click On The time bar of the post.

3-Copy the URL of the Post

4-Send the URL to : festing.in@gmail.com.

5-Subject being (<<Team Name>>  Social Media Link Incarnate 2.0 Round 1 )
(Ex: If Team Name is "Troy" then subject should be "Troy Social Media Link Incarnate 2.0 Round 1")

6-Get people to "Like" the Incarnate Facebook Page. After they have liked the Incarnate Page get people to "Like" your post (Which has your team Name as text).
  

Points:-


1- 6 Points for every "Like" on the post.

2- Users who "Like" the post but not the Incarnate page, will not be counted.




Scoring:-

Points earned by the highest scoring team will be considered the maximum points which will then be converted to a maximum of 100 points. All other teams' scores will be adjusted accordingly.

Example:

The team with the highest score (Team Troy) gets 2000 points. That means Team Troy gets 100 out of 100 points. The team coming in second (Team Apple) gets 1900 points, that would mean Team Apple gets 95 out 100 points.
